Program Info

The HCA Medical City Healthcare UNT-TCU GME [Fort Worth] Dermatology residency program is a three-year program that offers residents a comprehensive and rigorous training in dermatology. The program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) and accepts one resident per year. Residents rotate through Medical City Fort Worth, a tertiary care referral center, and through John Peter Smith Hospital, a large, state-of-the-art community hospital with the only Level I Trauma Center in Tarrant County. The program exposes residents to a broad spectrum of skin conditions and provides them with individualized learning opportunities by faculty and staff who support and sustain one another throughout quality care delivery. The program's mission is to develop the next generation of physicians and physician leaders who are committed to the care and improvement of human life.
