"Macon is an interesting community. Being an hour outside Atlanta and a common rest point for travelers making their way to Florida, Macon's patient population is unique as it provides a breadth of pathologies. In looking at both the local and transient patient populations, there is a lot to offer in terms of patient volume and training. I enjoyed my interview with the residents and assistant faculty. The major (almost dealbreaker) downside of my interview was when I spoke with the PD. There were "internet troubles" and my 15-minute interview was cut down to 5 minutes. When I asked if we could have more time after the interview session to speak, she said no. None of the other applicants ran into this problem. Overall, my interview experience was decent that ended on a sour note. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
