The Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Grand Stand Medical Center is a three-year, full ACGME accredited program with twelve residency positions per year. The program is affiliated with both the University of South Carolina and Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM).

Opportunities for community outreach, EMS education, and event medicine training. Global health opportunities. Simulations are every other week. You get to choose your own mentors. Peds longitudinal. Social work & Pharm in the ER. Will be getting an access clinic established by 2026. Everyone was very nice and easy to talk to. Very strong US with people who use for nerve blocks and TEE. Many residents go into fellowship in competitive specialities. OB is located in Savannah. Residents are the first health care providers to see patients. They get a lot of toxicology (snakes, spiders & ocean life). "
