"Program director is VERY SERIOUS, which it seems is just his personality...but other faculty were very nice. Don't know if I want to work with a doc like that though. He used to be a program director down in Texas so he brought the Texas curriculum up from there. Have heard good things about the hospital and the area from a friend doing rotations there. Seems like will be a strong program especially with the resources that come from affiliation with University of Louisville. They currently have a PGY-1 class only and so interviewing for PGY-2 class. There is a BEAUTIFUL health park in Owensboro sponsored by University of Louisville and the hospital is beautiful. I don't feel like I would mesh well with the other residents but seems like will be a strong program overall."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
