McLaren Macomb is a 288-bed tertiary teaching hospital located in Mount Clemens, Michigan. McLaren Macomb provides a full range of services, including cardiovascular care at the Mat Gaberty Heart Center, award-winning cancer services at the Ted B. Wahby Cancer Center, comprehensive orthopedic services, and a state-of-the-art elective Surgery Center. The hospital is verified as a Level II Trauma Center and operates one of the busiest Emergency Centers in the area.

"Love this program! Program director and faculty are very laid-back and chill. McLaren Health System has some drawbacks i.e. outdated EMR and residents use paper charts in clinic, and CEO of McLaren health system prioritizes some hospitals over the others. Mostly DO's but also some Canadian IMGs since Mt. Clements is a short drive to both borders to Canada(Sarnia and Windsor). They have a mobile clinic to serve uninsured patients. Interview was 3-25 minute sessions one with Program Director + Faculty, the other was with associate program director + psychologist and the other was a resident Q and A. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
