"Virtual interview with each program director at each of the 3 hospitals: Methodist (MN), Amery (WI), and New Richmond (WI). All PDs were very kind, despite my first link on Microsoft Teams not working and having to phone call in. The program coordinator was great. Residents had a meet and greet with us the night of. Residents seem to like the program, and PGY-1 year seems to be the toughest, although you join another 6-member resident team at Methodist to add to the comradery. Overall good experience. The town of New Richmond and Amery are quite small so you must like the rural setting. Both PGY-3 residents are from rural WI and plan on staying in the area post-graduation, so this program may or may not be selected for a kind of "type" of candidate. Past graduates go into either primary care or hospitalist medicine. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
