"Virtual interview with the coordinator giving an overview. You stay in the main zoom room until you are called to interview. I had 2 20min interviews with a faculty member and the PD. Interview with the faculty member was great as he actually took time to get to know you and did ask medical questions (should know knowledge for any 4th year, nothing difficult). Interview with PD was very relaxed and he makes sure you are comfortable. Both make sure you actually want to come to a rural program and how you would fit. Meet and greet with residents afterward. They seemed tired but the incoming class of 2024-2027 will have 12 interns compared to the current 6 so they seemed happy about it as work will be more distributed."

The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
