"It was one day virtual interview. No happy hours with the residents. The interview started with 45 mins orientation by the PD of internal medicine and another 45 mins by the PD of preventive medicine. I had 2 individual interviews one with a faculty and another with the PD of preventive medicine (I do not know why. I applied for internal medicine not preventive medicine). Then we got to meet the residents at the end. I asked them what do you do not like about the program, one answered, " We do not get to see a lot of complicated cases because the majority gets referred to Yale hospital. I do like the fact that you get to do some rotations at Yale. This is the only residency program in the hospital so no other residents in other departments. "

The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
