"1. Optional 1-on-1 meeting with a resident, where you can ask them any questions for 20-30 minutes. Most other programs don't offer this. 2. Group social event for 1 hour, can schedule this before or after the interview. They split you into breakout rooms, so 2 applicants talk to 1 resident, it almost felt like an informal interview. 3. Actual interview day: 1 hour introduction from program coordinator and PD, then 20-minute interviews x 3 with the PD and the two APDs. No medical questions asked. The two APDs were very nice and interested in knowing about the differences in medical systems between your home country and the US, about how you respond to constructive feedback and unexpected situations in your training. PD asked "how would you improve the curriculum in your medical school" which caught me off guard. Very nice people overall."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
