Their three‐year categorical residency program will prepare residents to be a competent internist whether they would like to be a general internist practicing both in the outpatient and inpatient settings, as an inpatient hospitalist, or wish to further train as a subspecialist. "The interview was virtual, 3 hours long (of which I was asked during 2 sessions for 30 minutes total), it was very relaxed and friendly. Residents seem happy, the area is nice and 1-2 hours away from Chicago, depending on traffic. It's a community program, but they put so much effort into helping you match into your fellowship of choice. The hospital is small, but has a lot of variety of conditions. There are no fellows in the hospital and residents have to acquire a lot more independence and knowledge. Patients can be uneducated. OVERALL! it is a good place to spend 3 years of residency. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
