"3 interviews each 20 minutes long with program director, APD and a core faculty member. During the interviews, the interviewers kept asking me to talk about more negative experiences and how I dealt with them, such as when I had disagreements/misunderstandings with colleagues, when I dealt with a stressful time at work, etc. But they also talked about my hobbies and gave me lots of time to ask questions to each of them. Also had some small talk with program coordinator and 2 other candidates in the Zoom lobby, talked about Chicago's food and tourist sites. 1-hour social event on a separate day, where you have Q&A with 4 residents on Zoom. The program itself seems very supportive of residents going for fellowship, with lots of mentorship and high fellowship match rates, 6-week inpatient electives at Loyola medicine during PGY-2 in the specialty of your choice, and outpatient electives as well. Community medicine rotation in outpatient setting to help homeless patients and immigrants. Located in Berwyn which is about 10 miles away from downtown Chicago, nice suburb with lower cost of living and many green spaces/parks."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
