"Check onenote https://www.challiance.org/academic/imr-curriculum - Social Med and Health Advocacy Curriculum ○ For every year one International Electives Many CHA residents participate in international health experiences before residency training. Our residency program strongly encourages these activities, during training and more than half of our residents work and study abroad during PGY2 and PGY3 electives. Residents in good academic standing may use up to 4-weeks of elective time during their PGY2 and PGY3 years away from the Boston area. Residents must submit a written proposal for the elective to the Program Director, describing the desired program of study, the planned supervision, and the expectation of how this experience would contribute uniquely to the resident’s personal educational goals. CHA is a remarkably rich community of clinicians with interests and expertise in international health. These individuals are available to our residents for advising and mentoring. https://sites.google.com/challiance.org/academicsapplicantportal/cha-hms 85% primary care Think a lot about education theory I like: They claim they look at education Treating everyone Focusing on underserved, social medicine "how to change the system" Hair braiding story Social med and health advocacy curriculum No interupptions of afternoons for clinics ICU heavy Resident as teacher Top for advocacy- you can make a difference here for real "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
