Interview Experience
NEW

"1. One-hour group session with program director. Each candidate gave a short self-introduction, a unique fact about themselves (hobbies etc.), answered a question from PD about the unique fact, then asked the PD a question about the program. PD gave very detailed answers to each question. She really cares about the well-being and needs of the residents. 4+1 schedule, many research opportunities despite being a community program, good fellowship match rate and 100% board pass rate. 2. 30-60 minute 1-on-1 interview with PD or core faculty member. Very conversational, no medical questions. Asked you what you can bring to the program compared to other candidates. Asked about your favorite clinical and favorite research experiences. Friendly interviewer who gives you a lot of chances to sell yourself. 3. 1-hour group Q&A session with 2 residents. Great interview experience overall, there were hours of long breaks between each of these 3 sessions, you can just leave Zoom and rest during the breaks."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
