"The interview started with a general information session since it's a newly accredited program talking about the new curriculum, facilities and opportunities for growth being part of the program. Being a new program it is very procedure heavy from the first year with the first class on interns working closely with the attnedings in a mentor style format. There were 3 individual interviews after the information session with a 5 minute break in between each 15 minute interview. 1 with each program director; overall PD, inpatient medicine PD, and outpatient PD. They were all very nice and personable, but they asked separate questions except for all asking for ties to Ohio or the southwest. The outpatient PD asked a lot of situational questions and the inpatient PD generally wanted to discuss things that aren't on your application."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
