"First, we had an hour with the PC; she was kind and honest and provided us with good insight about living in Amarillo. Then, two 25-minute interviews with faculty members followed. I didn't have a chance to meet the PD. Both faculty members asked me the same two questions, no medical or ethical questions, and half of the interview was me asking them questions. One of them wasn't too approachable; his answers were short and somewhat dismissive. The program is very academic, and participation in research is a must during residency. However, the residents look happy, and there is a strong sense of camaraderie and teamwork. "
