"Virtual Interview day started at 1pm CST with 8 other applicants. Greeted warmly by PD, Chief, PC. PD gave very thorough 1 hour presentation on himself, his goals for his program and the things that made the program stand out. The next 3 hours were split up between 3 consecutive IV with PD, Faculty and PGY-3, free hour to watch videos and go over documents provided by PC, and a Q+A with Chief. This program is incredible and the PD follows through with what he says. Residents are not overworked, they are supported to strike the best possible work-life balance, Q4 call, 13 residents/year, many of which have families with kids, great mentorship opportunities, excellent training, high fellowship attainment, focus of program is to develop excellent people first, heavily recruit from Midwest (IN, IL, WI), in a great city. I love this program and had been waiting for this IV all season. Would love to match here."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
