"Interview was great. Interviewed with 4 attendings of which 2 were program directors and associate program director and one was one of the eldest and longest standing child neurologist there. Also interviewed chief resident of pediatrics. Had preinterview dinner and lunch with the residents. Good tour. Hospiital is not an independent pediatric hospital but is still pretty nice and part of Texas Medical Center complex. Family in the area in form of brother and his family and cousins. Have rotated there before on adult side of the same field of medicine. Good facilities and resources like Cleveland Clinic. But not as many perks in terms of extra benefits. Does seem like it has too many residents on peds side though compared to cleveland clinic peds program. Child neuro side it is nice that I'm not the only peds neuro resident my year if I go there. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
