Interview Experience
NEW

"Interview started at 12pm EST. There was a 15 minute introduction to the program by the PD. Then had three 15 minute interviews. First was with the PD. Second was with the chair and an upcoming chief resident. Third was with clerkship director and another chief resident. There was a wrap up after interviews were completed where we were given the opportunity to ask the upcoming chief residents any additional questions we had without the presence of an attending. Overall very relaxed and informal. Questions were normal and a lot pertained to my application. The program is a Catholic Hospital and does not provide birth control without a diagnosis that would benefit with it and does not do it for prevention sake. They also do not do elective abortions or tubal ligations. However, the PD noted that you will still meet training requirements in these areas."

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
