"The interview day started with the program director's address and overview of the program. Each of the applicant had 2 interviews of 15 minutes each in total, one with the faculty member and the other with the program director. While waiting for our respective time slots for interviews, we got a chance to meet with the current residents and could ask questions related to the program and anything else. Overall a good interview day, a lot of behavourial questions, they did know my application thoroughly. Residents seemed happy about the program. Since it is affiliated with NYCHH, residents get to train at various different centers and have better exposure and networking opportunities, good fellowship match rates. The only drawback is that they don't have an in-house PICU and have a 24-hour call schedule. "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
