"CATEGORICAL! Accept 4/year (so more one-on-one). 1 ESIR position. I accidentally emailed The Dept chair with a thank you email that had the wrong Dr. name :( Level 1 trauma center, stroke center, high volume. Good meal plan (including Starbucks!), free parking. Seems like they do a lot of parties/socials/events. 12 weeks of electives PGY-5, mini fellowships. Dedicated study time, edu stipend, twice-daily didactics, and moonlighting (+). Good attending attention, work in the same place, so always available to help. Prelim year: 1 month night float, seven weeks inpt, two months in Rads, and two months electives. Typically work 6:30-3 or 4, one night a week, you stay for "call" (so stay til like 7)...Usually work six days/week. Low cost of living, semi-close to Mark and Dad, "thriving young professional community", and some outdoor activities but not a ton. Warm weather for the most part. People seem to want to stay there after they finish - very friendly/southern hospitality. Very friendly people with great comradery - People often get together outside of work. Accommodating and responsive to resident needs/recommendations. Overall: 9.5/10 "

"The night before, the residents did a Q&A for the interview candidates. The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator. We interviewed with the PD, faculty and the program coordinator. "
