"The interview started really early on 7am the hospital is fine; 500 beds 9000 surgeries a year in both mercy programs, the buildings just about fine, and the neighborhood is a bit underserved. The day stared with an M&M meeting, then we had our interviews with the program director, he asked pretty straight forward Qs about why surgery and past experience then we had an interview with the head of the department, he asked about what qualities you see in yourself that would fit our program. Then we had a chat with some of the residents and lunch."

The morning of, the program coordinator shared a little bit about the program while waiting for the Program Director to give a powerpoint presentation about the program. We then moved into a waiting room with the other candidates and had the chance to chat with each other and occasionally with the program coordinator.
